Characters
Flash Thompson: Flash was a bully who picked on Peter until they were adults, and they became friends. Flash later lost both of his legs in a war, and became Agent Venom, and the symbiote gave him legs, and complete control over the body.
Gwen Stacey: Peter met the lovely Gwen Stacey at Empire State University. Eventually, they fell deeply in love. Unfortunately, the relationship was destined to end in tragedy when Gwen was killed by the Green Goblin.
Lance Bannon: A professional photographer who was very serious about his craft, Lance often competed with Peter for freelance assignments. Though the two photographers began as rivals, they eventually became friends. However, Lance's life was tragically cut short when he was murdered while covering a story.
The Vulture: Like his namesake, the Vulture is a pitiless predator. This villain, whose real name is Adrian Thoomes, preys upon the rich, the powerful, and the unwary. Using an electromagnetic harness of his creation to fly, he strikes on swift and silent wings. He is a ferocious fighter who attacks without mercy, hunting to feed a ravenous appetite for wealth, power, and revenge.
Otto Octavious: As his fame grew, Otto Octavious became arrogant, condescending, and self-absorbed. He invented a special mechanical harness that allowed him to perform dangerous experiments at a distance, and discouraged his coworkers from getting too close. However, during a freak laboratory accident, Otto Octavious was left somehow mentally and physically bonded with his mechanical arms- he had been turned into Doctor Octopus.
The Lizard: Doctor Curtis Connors was a peaceful man who loved his family. He lost his arm during a war while serving as an army surgeon. As a result, he gave up surgery and started to study reptiles. Realizing that some reptiles can grow a replacement if they lose a leg or any other appendage, Connors was determined to learn their secret, and apply that to humans. After years of painstaking research, Connors believed he had finally isolated the chemical mechanism that gave reptiles the power to regenerate missing limbs. Ignoring his wife's pleas, he used himself as a guinea pig and drank his experimental serum.
Electro: Human dynamo who controls one of the earth's greatest forms of energy, Max Dillon, a.k.a Electro, is the master of electricity. His body is a living generator that instinctively knows when to recharge itself. It can produce up to 1000 volts of electricity per minute, up to a maximum capacity of 100,000 volts. Once Electro reaches his limit, he stop generating energy until he needs more. But though he wears a flashy costume and wields a power that should make him virtually invincible, Electro has always had a bit of an inferiority complex.
